Rotary Drilling Auger are particularly divided into the following types:

Application of Drilling Auger:
(1) Conical auger: double cut double carry augers, suitable for hard bedrock. Double cut single carry augers, suitable for weathered bedrock, pebble, frozen soil, etc. The above augers are equiped with various cutting teeth, and many types of augers can be derived from the changes of tooth type, and pitch, etc.
(2) Straight auger:
a. Straight augers with bucket teeth: double cut double carry augers, suitable for sand, small diameter gravel layer with poor cementation; double cut single carry, suitable for sand and soil layer; single cut single carry, suitable for pebbles with large diameter, cohesive soil and hard clay with poor cementation.
b. Straight augers with bullet teeth: double cut, three cut and four cut, suitable for hard bedrock or gravel
Rotary drilling tools are devided into the following types:- Double bottom double cut drilling bucket: a standard drilling tool for rotary drilling rig. When applied for below 500KPa total or strongly weathering rock layer, flat bucket teeth would be used as the cutting bits for drilling buckets; When applied for below 30MPa gravel, cobble and boulder layer and total or strongly weathering sedimentary rock layer, bullet teeth would be used.
